Teens and young people are in a life phase characterised by big changes: school or work transitions, shifting friendships, complex or changing family dynamics, and the search for identity. Many young people struggle with emotional overwhelm, attachment wounds, or the lingering affects of trauma.

 

We can work with teens and young people to develop emotional literacy, understand their attachment styles, and build resilience. Whether you’re navigating school stress, family conflict, or the challenges of emerging adulthood, therapy aims to help you feel more confident, connected, and in control of your life.

Emotional Literacy

Emotional literacy is the ability to recognise, understand, and express your emotions in healthy ways. It is the foundation for strong relationships, expressing empathy, and resiliency. Together, we’ll aim to build the skills you need to navigate life’s ups and downs. 

Processing Trauma

Past experience, whether big or small, can shape how you see yourself and the world. If you’ve experienced trauma, we’ll work at your pace to process these experiences, reduce their impact, and help you move forward with strength and self-compassion.

Emerging Adulthood

Stepping into adulthood comes with big questions: Who am I? What do I want? How do I handle new responsibilities? We can explore your identity, values, and goals, helping you navigate this exciting (and sometimes confusing) stage with confidence and compassion.
