Healing from Abusive Relationships

Leaving is just the beginning. If you're recovering from a toxic or abusive relationship or wondering if what you experienced was abuse then you deserve a space to process, heal & rebuild.

Who is this for?

This service could be for you if you:

  • Have left an abusive relationship & are struggling to rebuild

  • Are currently in a relationship & questioning whether it is healthy

  • Are recovering from narcissistic or emotional abuse

  • Want to understand why you appear to be stuck in certain relationship patterns

  • Are supporting a loved one who has experienced abuse

What can we help with?

Recovering from Abuse

Healing from an abusive relationship takes time and support. We aim to create a safe space to process your experiences, rebuild self worth, and reclaim your sense of safety and worth.

Recognising Toxic Dynamics

Understanding the signs of toxic relationships, whether in friendships, family or romantic partnerships is key to protecting your wellbeing. We'll help you identify red flags and set boundaries that honour your needs.

Rebuilding Self Worth

Abusive relationships can leave you feeling unworthy or disconnected from yourself. We'll focus on reconnecting with your inherent value, practicing self compassion and nurturing a kinder, more empowering relationship with yourself.

Creating Healthy Relationships

Learning what healthy love looks like is essential. We'll explore how to build relationships based on mutual respect, communication, and consent, so you can move forward with confidence.

Support for Parents & Carergivers

If you're supporting a loved one who has experienced abuse, you may need guidance too. We'll help you navigate how to offer support while taking care of your own emotional needs.

How therapy can look in this space

The first session is about creating a sense of safety & getting to know each other. There is no pressure to share everything at once, especially if parts of your experience still feel overwhelming or confusing. We'll talk about what has been happening, how it has impacted you & what you would like to work on moving forward. Therapy focuses on helping you make sense of your experiences, rebuild a sense of safety & trust in yourself. We will move at a pace that feels manageable. Sessions are confidential & we will clearly explain the few exceptions to this before we begin so you feel informed and in control.

Abusive relationships can leave deep emotional scars, affecting your sense of self, trust & future relationships. Whether you’re healing from a past relationship, figuring out healthy relationship patterns, navigating the aftermath of domestic violence, or supporting a loved one, we can provide a compassionate, trauma-informed space to support you to process your experiences, rebuild self-worth, and learn to create boundaries.

You deserve relationships that honour your worth and safety: let’s work together to make that a reality.
